Coordinate Critical Components Without Crossing Into Local Project Delivery
Our role: Transformer-component supply, interface checking, export packing and remote product support. The local project partner retained responsibility for design approval, installation, testing and on-site service.
Asset situation
A Middle East utility partner was renewing transformer components across assets whose drawings and nameplate records varied in completeness.
Release constraint
Electrical duty, mechanical interfaces, environmental requirements and delivery timing had to be aligned before production release.
Supply package
Transformer bushings, surge arresters, matched hardware and selected MRO items prepared for partner-managed installation.
Legacy assets rarely arrive with clean data
The first issue was not price or production time; it was deciding which legacy references were reliable enough to use. Old model numbers were checked against photographs, interface dimensions and the local engineer's approved electrical requirements before any equivalent was proposed.
Component fit became the control point
Bushing dimensions, creepage, terminal arrangements and arrester duty were compared against the information confirmed by the partner. Open points stayed visible until approval instead of being hidden inside a catalogue substitution.
Export packing followed the asset positions
Components and matching hardware were grouped and labelled against the partner's transformer references. This reduced sorting at receipt and helped the local contractor prepare installation packages without depending on ELETERGY at site.
A deliberate boundary around local work
ELETERGY answered product and interface questions remotely. The utility partner and its appointed contractor retained every site decision, including design approval, installation method, testing and energisation.
Handover
The local team received matched components, clear shipment identification and the standard product records needed for receiving and maintenance. Project delivery and customer service remained fully under the partner's control.
